Support Worker Co Group was founded in September 2021.

David Cuda | Founder and Managing Partner

David is a proven and experienced leader, holding Chief Executive roles for Staffing and Workforce Service providers in the Healthcare and Community Services sector over a period of 20 years.  David consultancy specialization is in advising, leading and delivering strategic and transformational projects for Support and Care Sector organizations.

Prior to co-founding Support Worker Co with life-long friend and business partner, Frank Barila, David led the evolution of Edmen Community Staffing Solutions and growth of numerous other Healthcare industry brands, built organically and via acquisition, involved in the provision of Staffing services to Community Service and Healthcare providers across Australia over a period of nearly 20 years.

Prior to commencing in the Community Service sector, David worked for several professional services and advisory firms including PWC, KPMG and Deutsche Bank, emanating from his Chartered Accountant roots, in various advisory and assurance roles.

David has developed unique insights into how Community Service providers operate and is passionate about helping for-purpose organisations solve complex and important workforce-related challenges to help Community Service providers achieve their full potential.

Frank Barila | Founder and Managing Partner

Frank has over 25 years of experience in the community services sector, starting as a disability support worker and then moving into operations service delivery leadership roles.  Frank co-led the creation and evolution of Edmen Community Staffing Solutions during a journey lasting nearly 25 years.

Together with life-long friend and business associate David Cuda, Support Worker Co was founded.  With over 25 years in community services space Frank has developed a unique expertise for end-to-end operational execution of frontline support workforce management excellence (recruitment, training, scheduling, performance management) along with person-centred service delivery within the community service sector.

Frank has a unique skill centred on how to make Community Service frontline Workforces tick, at scale, gained from his unmatched experience and insights gained by being a trusted partner for many Community Service providers across Australia.

Anthony Inu | Partner - Workforce Practice Excellence 

Anthony has 25 years of experience in the community services sector, starting as a Support Worker then moving through the service delivery operational management ranks in some of the largest providers of Disability and Child Protection providers in Australia.  He has held numerous management roles in service delivery, practice, quality and compliance for organisations such as LWB and Lifestyle Solutions before embarking on his Support Worker Co journey.

Anthony has known Frank and Dave for over 15 years and has worked with them in various organisations and engaged their previous business services.  He runs the Workforce Practice Excellence function at Support Worker Co and leads a team of dedicated practice excellence practitioners and is passionate about empowering Support Workers so that they can deliver improved supports to end-clients.

Fofoga Ioata | Partner – Operations

Fo has over 10 years of experience in the Community Services sector, starting as a scheduling coordinator and progressing quickly into numerous management and executive leadership roles.  She was General Manager of Edmen Community Staffing Solutions prior to commencing at Support Worker Co.

Fo is truly an expert at end-to-end operational execution of Community Service Workforces at scale (onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance excellence) along with enabling and empowering people and operational teams so that operations can best support service delivery outputs.

She is a frontline Support Workforce operations expert and has a unique expertise in how to build and execute effective Support Workforce operations at scale.

Fo is truly and inspirational leader and is renowned in the Community Services sector for consistently delivering outcomes which leave a lasting meaningful positive impact.

Adam Kumcevski | Partner – Recruitment

Adam has 15 years of experience in the Community Services sector, starting in a service delivery capacity but quickly moving into his passion of recruiting best-fit Support Workers for Disability Services, Aged Care and Youth Service providers.

Adam has worked with Frank and Dave for 15 years and over this time recruited over a 1,000 Support Workers throughout Australia. He is driven to ensure the recruitment of Support Workers is done in a manner which best brings to life their skills and experience, specific to each person they support. 

In addition to working in recruitment, he also leads a team of passionate and driven Recruitment Coordinators at Support Worker Co.

Adam has a unique set of skills associated with building effective recruitment processes, systems and teams to responsively source and onboard Support Workers.  He is fondly nicknamed the “Recruitment Master” at Support Worker co.

Emily Keir | Partner – Consulting Services

Over the past 7 years, Emily has specialised in Workforce Planning and Rostering functions for a large South Australian Disability provider. Emily led teams responsible for managing deployment of 800+ staff for 80+ SIL and STA Services. This included centralised management of identifying recruitment, training needs and workforce capacity for services. Emily has expertise in workforce strategy and system implementation, ensuring efficient workflows and processes to support organisations with effective workforce planning, in both a forecast and emergency environment.

Emily has over 10 years’ experience in the community sector, starting as a support worker in emergency respite, supporting children living with disabilities.
